Vitamin exfoliation or peel

Photorejuvenation | Peel | Wrinkles | Injectable fillers: Temporary

As we age, our skin cell turnover slows down. Dead cells on the skin’s surface give the epidermis a rough appearance. If you have fine lines, sun spots or pigmentation abnormalities, a vitamin exfoliation, also known as a peel, is recommended.

The vitamin A exfoliation consists of the application of one or more products on your skin in order to remove dead skin cells and to stimulate the growth of new cells. After a vitamin exfoliation, your skin will be soft, firm, taut and free of fine lines and imperfections.

However, your skin will remain sensitive for a few months following the vitamin exfoliation. To prolong the positive effects, you must absolutely avoid exposure to the sun and wear a complete sun block. You may repeat the vitamin exfoliation as necessary to obtain and maintain the desired results. If you have other questions, do not hesitate to make an appointment with the Clinique Jean Gilbert. You will receive a personalized consultation during which we will give you the complete details of the procedure that is most suitable for you.
