About Dr. Jean Gilbert
After graduating from the reputed general medicine program at the Université de Montréal, Dr. Jean Gilbert decided to add art to his practice by choosing to specialize in medical aesthetics. In fact, he’s devoted his practice to minimally invasive procedures for over 30 years. A pioneer of the Vela technology that’s used to treat cellulite in Quebec, he’s perfected injection sclerotherapy with ultrasound guidance for varicose veins and non-ablative laser rejuvenation.
Aside from his highly perfected technical skills, Dr. Jean also has an eye for aesthetics and knows what to use and how to proceed in order to obtain the finest results. He is, in fact, considered an expert and a reference for all things related to medical aesthetics. He’s frequently invited to speak and train other professionals at national and international scientific meetings and conventions. A respected doctor in the field of cosmetic rejuvenation, Dr. Gilbert is one of Botox® Canada’s top injectors as well as a certified instructor and facilitator for companies such as Allergan and Syneron.
Finally, over the last 20 years, Dr. Gilbert has also served as a trainer and member of the board of directors for the Canadian Phlebology Society.
